COUNTY ATTORNEYS OFFICE

It is a privilege and honor to serve as your County Attorney.  As Grant County Attorney, I am responsible for prosecuting over 5,000 cases per year in both adult and juvenile court. Ensuring these criminals are brought to justice while addressing the concerns of the victims is my highest priority. 

My staff and I also accept the responsibility of collecting child support and pursuing parents who neglect to pay. In order to protect Grant County families, we need to make sure that child support is uniformly collected and enforced.  A child should not go hungry due to the dereliction of their parents.

An additional responsibility of this office is for the collection of delinquent taxes.  Our purpose is to collect delinquent taxes, taxes which are at least one year past due, owed to county or state organizations.  In the event that a property owner is unwilling to meet his/her financial obligation, our office may file a lien and begin the foreclosure process or file a small claims action to collect in court monies owed the county.

The final responsibility of this office is  representing the interests of the Grant County Fiscal Court and all its departments and agencies.
